Hi, I’m Kristin — the planner, heart, and detail-obsessed mind behind Iris & Co.
My love story with weddings really began long before I launched my business. I met my husband in 2021, and we instantly clicked. He became my best friend, my safe place, and my partner in absolutely everything. In early 2022, we bought a fixer-upper with plenty of land for our dogs to run wild, and a year later, in November 2023, we got married — a day that sparked something in me that I couldn’t ignore.
Walking through the wedding planning process as a bride made me realize just how much I thrived in it. As a lifelong Type-A personality, I loved the organization, creativity, details, and the way everything comes together to tell a couple’s story. I began my career in 2017 as a hairstylist, specializing in bridal hair within the wedding industry. Those years gave me a true understanding of what it takes to support a bride on her most important day. It became clear that the wedding industry was a natural extension of the work I already loved.
Our journey hasn’t been without heartbreak. In February 2024, we lost our first son, Beckett — a loss that reshaped us in the deepest way. It brought my husband and me closer than we ever thought possible and strengthened every part of who we are. Later that year, I launched Iris & Co., carrying that renewed purpose, compassion, and appreciation for life’s most sacred moments.
In May 2025, we welcomed our second son, Hudson, and he has brought so much joy and light into our world. Today, I juggle motherhood, managing Iris & Co., and still doing hair here and there — all roles that keep me connected to the work I love.
When I’m not planning weddings or working behind the chair, you can usually find me enjoying life at home, working on projects around our property, or diving into my love for homesteading. Family, simplicity, and meaningful moments are at the core of my life — and they’re the same values I bring into every wedding I plan.
